Acupuncture safety is important to Registered Acupuncturists.

Registered acupuncturists have been trained to high clinical standards particularly in needling techniques that maximise patient safety and minimise risk. This includes knowledge of safe needle depth and clean needle technique. They are also required to maintain environmental health and safety standards as laid out by AHPRA  (Australian health practitioner regulation agency).

As part of your consultation with a registered acupuncturist you will have the opportunity to review the risks of treatment and decide whether you wish to receive acupuncture treatment at any given session.
