According to The Acupuncture evidence project (McDonald J, and Janz S, 2017), Traditional indications and ongoing modern research, acupuncture may be of benefit in a wide variety of conditions.

 

Here are some for which there is robust evidence :

Emotional: stress, anxiety, insomnia, trauma, ptsd, panic attacks,

and ( depression in conjunction with medication ) 

Physical: chronic pain, muscular, arthritic, back, neck, shoulder, knee, elbow pain

Neurological: headache, migraine, dizziness

Digestive: indigestion, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Poor Immunity: allergic rhinitus (hay fever), chronic fatigue, general malaise, low energy

Gynaecological: premenstrual syndrome, menopause
